Hi I am Frida
This is a photo of me with the first egg from my 4 and a half month old chick that I raised.
Her name is Owl. Hopefully tomorrow I will get more eggs because I have four chicks. I love poached eggs on toast because my chickens lay the eggs. I like sitting in the hay bales with my chickens and feeding them oats from the pony's feed bin.
Hi Frida - thank you for blogging. We are following you from Singapore! Do you know that people are not allowed to keep their own chickens in this country, all of them have to stay inside in a few chicken barns. I think this is very sad for them. I am sure they would rather be living with you and getting to hang out on the hay bales. Zoe

ReplyDeleteHow great to have your own fresh eggs for poaching. Did you know that poached eggs on toast are my favourite too? I know from our visit that you really enjoy the chickens and take special care of each one of them. I love the picture too!
